This charming, stunning and charming gold saree is a great way to add traditional colors to your closet. It features kadua work in red & golden zari and is made in katan.

Woven using the khinkhab method with combination of real and tried zari.

Jaali Work: Jaali work can be described as a technique similar to threadwork.

It involves drilling holes into the fabric. The method used to do this is different than the traditional method of punching holes into the cloth.

Jaali work involves separating the weft and warp threads using a needle. This does not break the fabric's continuity. It was not created as a type of embroidery. This technique is used in chikankari (a speciality of Uttar Pradesh), India. A jaali on fabric is also called a trellis.

The effects that jaali produces are similar to those of a net material. It makes the garment appear more elegant and lighter. While jaali work can be used in chikankari in its own right, there are many other techniques. Some jaali stitches can be straight-lined, such as bank jail and hathkati. Another form of jaali sewing that is more common are makra, mandrazi and phool jaali.

Famous for its intricate patterns, the Raktambari Saree is a favorite. The traditional design features a kadhua. This technique requires high skill. The woven pattern is an adaptation of the traditional Buti or floral design. Jamdani, a similar style to Rajput's weave, is also called the Jamdani weave.

Raktambari Sarees are made using a combination from both the traditional and contemporary methods.

Tanchoi, Jamdani. Tanchoi uses the Dampanch weave to lock the pattern into the cloth. This makes it look flat. Jamdani is another technique that uses small shuttles in its floating weaving. This creates fine embroidery in weaving. These saris have three traditional colors: yellow, blue, and red.

Two main styles of Jamdanis are available in Banaras: Banaras is home to the most expensive Jamdani and is considered more valuable than its Dhakai counterpart. They are named after the predominant colours of their different styles. The Jamavar Tangoi's Persian design influence is evident in its elaborate leaf patterns. The Kim Khwabs blend the two and include a lot of zari, as well as other embellishments.
