Hello everyone! Today, we are going to discuss Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Entertainment District Arc Episode 8. This episode is the kind of thing I live for! It was a non-stop fight, the stakes are high and there are many surprises. Let's get into it!

In the last episode, it was Tengen against the demon brothers Daki and Gyutaro. In this episode, the other Demon Slayers have entered the fray. So, they parted ways. Tengen and Tanjiro will fight Gyutaro, while Zenitsu and Inosuke will fight Daki.
I just have to say hi to Zenitsu in this fight. I think back to the first season when I thought it was so annoying. But, in this arc, we can see Zenitsu's fighting power and good heart. He is not only fighting Daki because she needs to be destroyed, but because she abused one of the girls in one of the houses. Even in the middle of a nap, she still has the means to defend another person.
Another thing that I appreciated in this episode is that Tanjiro and Tengen are not in sync. This is something Gyutaro points out. It shows that they have a long way to go in building their mentor/mentee relationship.
A hater keeps hating
You know someone is the enemy of the year when he gets upset by a twinkle in someone's eye. In this fight between Tengen, Tanjiro, and Gyutaro, it's clear that our Demon Slayers have their work cut out for them.
Remember that Tanjiro is suffering from the events of the previous episodes. He was in a tough fight with Daki, he had to stop Nezuko from ripping people's heads off and ran to put her sister back in the box once she calmed down. So with such a powerful demon, they are already in grave danger.
I must say that the teamwork between the demon brothers is something to behold. They both use their individual strengths to take on the Demon Slayers. This was an interesting approach to the battle. Instead of seeing two separate battles, we saw combinations. This made the fight even more exciting to watch.
I'm not going to spoil it but
This episode ends on a cliffhanger because of course he does. Some interesting maneuvers happen, but the show ends just before we see the result. I growled in frustration. We could have seen the results and then rolled the credits. But, I guess they want the audience to squirm with anticipation for a week.
General
This season keeps getting better. But this is a bit scary. When you raise the stakes so high, how do you keep the momentum going? We know that these Shonen Jump anime tend to fill us with coffee until we can't sit still. We then bump into several filler episodes until we have another drink. Was the coffee analogy too much?
