The different aspects of performing Umrah Packages

The performance of Hajj pilgrimage is undertaken by hundreds of thousands of pilgrims every year through their Umrah Packages from UK and from across the globe. Arriving in the city of Makkah during the month of Dhul-Hijjah, pilgrims gather in Haramain and commence the holy rituals from the 8th of Dhul-Hijjah. These different rituals are observed continuously for the next five days, thus, marking the completion of the Hajj pilgrimage on the 12th of Dhul-Hijjah.

Hajj is mandatory to be performed by every Muslim who is physically and mentally fit as well as possesses the financial ability to afford Hajj travel. For such adult Muslims, hajj is obligatory once in a lifetime. Otherwise, if such a person doesn’t observe the hajj pilgrimage, it’s a sinful act.

Here’s a brief description of the different aspects of performing the hajj pilgrimage.

Spiritual Significance.

Hajj rituals require pilgrims to undergo many physically demanding activities i.e., as part of rituals; traveling to different regions, and performing different Ibadah. Such acts of worship not only boost a Muslim’s faith, trust, and love of Allah Almighty but also instill in them the traits of patience, fear, and humility.

Hajj is such a ritual journey that provides a pilgrim with a complete shift in his/her perspective of life. In fact, it would not be wrong to say that such a pilgrim is liberated from all of his past sins because it is evident from the hadith of Hazrat Muhammad (SAWW) that performing hajj leaves a person free from all his/her past sins (just like a newborn baby).

Therefore, for a believer, this act of worship enhances the love and fear of Allah as well teaches him/her to rely upon him only.

One Nation.

The sight of Haramain during the Hajj pilgrimage is an exemplary embodiment of the Muslim unity and brotherhood in front of the whole of the world. This religious duty of Muslims is not only spiritually cleansing for them but also leads them to the emotions of brotherhood, quality, and unity among each other. Therefore, representing the true spirit of ‘One Nation’ of the Muslim ummah.

At the time of this annual Muslim convention i.e., Hajj, pilgrims of different ethnicities, backgrounds and nationalities gather in Makkah, standing before Allah Almighty in their Ihram clothes regardless of any differences with the purest intention of pleasing Allah Almighty and following the noble goals.

Religious obligation.

As said earlier, the performance of the hajj is obligatory for every able Muslim. The obligation of Hajj has not only been mentioned in the Holy Quran several times but also, it’s a beautiful Sunnah of our Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SAWW).

These are some of the different aspects of performing hajj.
