My Office Has Both Copic And Bianyo Markers For Illustration Drawings

We now have both Copic and bianyo markers in our office for illustration drawings. Although there are pros and cons of each marker, we truly believe that for people who can't afford the high cost of Copics these are great markers to make a similar product. If you want to learn more about why we think these two brands are so amazing please read this article.

Bianyo Markers:

For people who can't afford the high cost of Copics, they might be interested in the Bianyo option. Bianyo markers work with some of their pens, but they do not work with the other pens. The bianyo marker line is made in Korea and is cheaper than the Copic brand. The bianyo marker line has great blending and layering abilities, however some of their markers have already begun fading over time even when we placed it in the original packaging they came with.

Copic markers:

Copic markers are made in Japan. They have a great color selection. They are very easy to blend and layer, and their color is long lasting. Their ink can be easily erased with alcohol.

Although the marker is different, there are many similarities between the ways that it works. The marker tip is smaller than the Copic marker, but the ink still dries really fast! In addition to this, you don't need to press down like you would with a regular marker. All of these things make it easy for people who aren't used to using Copic markers to get used to them.

Let’s Compare both Copic and Bianyo Markers:

  • Copic ink dries faster than the one in the bianyo marker.

  • The tip of the bianyo marker is smaller than the copic. This makes it easier to control.

  • The colours of the ink on the bianyo markers are different from copic ones in terms of saturation and hue. This can help people who can't afford to buy copics as well as people who do not like using them. -you don't need to press the tip down onto the paper to get a solid line like you do with a regular marker. This makes it easier for people who aren't used to using markers and copics.

  • You can buy the refills for all of the pens unlike copic which is only available in the pen form.

Conclusion

From the above points it can be seen that using these markers is much easier than using Copic ones. Even though the colours are a bit different, you can still use them to create cool illustrations and designs. When you can't afford Copics, then these bianyo markers are definitely a great option
