2021 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Sedan Review: Redefining Luxury Performance

A new, more powerful engine, fresh exterior enhancements, and an improved consignment of standard features reinforce the 2021 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Sedan's persisting prevalence in the USA as a favoured option from the executive midsize family sedan classification. Alongside competitors such as the BMW 5 Series, Audi A6, and Volvo S90, the E-Class Sedan continues to deliver a serene and masterfully refined driving experience but now with even more cosmetic panache and palpable luxuries. Mercedes presents the 2021 E-Class Sedan E450 4Matic with an optional 362-horsepower turbocharged inline-6 engine, which replaces the standard-fit 255-hp turbo-4 unit. The 2021 E-Class Sedan may not be as poised and engaging as the 5 Series or the Jaguar XF, but it's now put forward with substantially improved performance potential and retains the suave and contemporary guise and opulent, high-tech cabin that's made it so sought-after in the first place.

The 2021 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Sedan gets a mid-cycle refresh for the 2021 model year with an overhaul of the exterior, the addition of a more powerful engine, and a stronger features list. Outside, there are new wheel and color options, along with a tweaked design that introduces new taillamps, a revised front design with power domes, and new headlights. The interior was already one of the most luxurious in the segment but Mercedes has upgraded it with a new steering wheel featuring touch control buttons and new upholstery choices. The previous COMAND infotainment interface has been replaced by the slicker MBUX system that includes features like the available augmented video for the navigation system. The range-topping E450 4MATIC is now powered by a turbocharged inline-six gas engine instead of the old V6 unit. This powertrain includes an EQ Boost mild-hybrid system.
