How a Trek with Heaven Riders India Turned 16-Year-Old Deepak Into an Environmentally Aware Person

Little Deepak traveled to Kedarkantha Trek in 2021 with Heaven Riders India and brought back a lot of memories.

He immediately connected with his hike guide Aditya when they first met him.

It marked the start of a protracted trail. Not simply of the jungle, but also of a protracted line of inquiries emanating from Deepak's mind to Deepa Didi.

The trek experience, according to Deepak's mother Saroj, "completely changed Deepak."

Saroj explains: "Deepak just couldn't quit thinking about the experience of picking up rubbish from the mountain trails when we got back from the trek. He had been deeply impacted by it. He became so concerned that he began to take waste generation very seriously. In cities, we frequently consume goods in plastic wrapping, but we seldom ever pay attention to it. We continued to consume items in plastic even after returning from the walk, and deepak was the first one to hold the rest of us responsible for our error.

He felt hurt by it. I recall him asking me to call deepa's number one day. I didn't anticipate that his call to her would be motivated by his desire to learn more about how he can protect the environment.

After talking with Ayushi after the trek, deepak made the decision to switch from plastic to steel straws.

Additionally, he had to do a group project at school for which he chose to create something practical out of single-use plastic! These were words he had never heard before the expedition.

For this, he was able to coordinate with his comrades. spoke with them about why this is the subject they should discuss, and his arguments persuaded everyone. ”

Deepa recently participated in a webinar with Decathlon, and Deepak attended to support her. It was quite touching to witness his love and admiration for Ayushi as he confidently shared his travel tales.

Deepak, a 16-year-old, was really concerned about the production of waste.

His modest efforts to protect the environment could, in the long term, have a significant impact.

I won't allow anyone to litter, he answered with ambition when his mother asked him what he wanted to do about it.

After the kedarkantha he did’nt stop & keep continues to do trek like shrikhand mahadev, parashar lake, etc.
