What is HelloFresh?

Berlin-based HelloFresh SE is a publicly traded German meal-kit business. It is the biggest meal-kit company in Europe, with affiliates throughout Western Europe, Canada, Denmark, Australia, New Zealand, and Sweden.

The meal kit delivery company HelloFresh sends customers weekly boxes of fresh ingredients along with instructions to make dinner preparation simpler.

For you to create your dishes, sauces, spices, and garnishes are all pre-portioned in the containers. You have two options: either choose a diet and let HelloFresh determine your meals, or create your own meal from more than 20 rotating menus.

Meal selection

With HelloFresh, there are six different meal plans to choose from:

  1. Various meat and vegetable-based meals are available.
  2. Veggie lunches are vegan but do not exclusively consist of plant-based foods.
  3. Fast, kid-friendly foods that are quick to make are family-friendly choices.
  4. Meals that are low in calories often have serving sizes of 650 calories or fewer.
  5. Quick and simple meals are those that can be made in 30 minutes or less.
  6. Meals that only include seafood and no other animal proteins are known as pescatarian meals.

Within each of these categories, there is some room for customization, such as omitting beef, pig, or shellfish. You can choose from a variety of other menu choices. You may easily swap out a meal in your order to include the Family Oriented supper menu if you're following the Caloric Intake Meal Plan and want to test it.

HelloFresh Prices

Depending on the dietary pattern you choose, HelloFresh meals range in price from $8 to $13. This amounts to $50 to $180 each week on average. A set $8.99 shipping fee is extra paid for each delivery. On the other hand, freshly prepared single-serving meals start at $9 each meal and cost between $46 and $102 per week. The cheapest weekly Blue Apron plans cost $40 plus $9.99 delivery, with kits starting at $8 per dish.
