Planning a Trip in Tanzania

If you're looking for a destination full of travel and adventure, go no further than Tanzania tours. There's something for everyone in this stunning East African nation on the coast of the Indian Ocean. You won't need to leave this sunny haven to get the vacation experience you're looking for, thanks to the abundance of both urban and rural areas. There are many incredible places to see wildlife in Africa, but few can match the Serengeti National Park for sheer diversity. The park is home to endless plains dotted with umbrella-shaped acacia trees and herds so vast they appear as ants; dormant volcanoes carpeted with dense, lush jungle; clouds of butterflies and gemlike birds that flit in their wake; salt-lined soda lakes that taint the feathers of flamingoes that feed and Kenya has the oldest and most sophisticated tourism infrastructure in East Africa, which is where the region's promise lies. We live in a world of contrasts in Tanzania. Located at an elevation of around 600 feet (or 200 metres), it is home to Africa's highest peak as well as the world's deepest lake. Kilimanjaro, the world's tallest freestanding mountain at 19,340 feet (5,895 metres), is a native of this country. Lake Tanganyika, at 4,710 feet, is the second-deepest lake in the world (or 1,436 meters). Lake Baikal in Russia wins first place with a size of 5,387 feet (1,642 metres), a significant margin over second place.

When is the best time for me to take Tanzania tours?

Tanzania's climate may be roughly classified into four distinct seasons. July through September is the heart of the dry season, when temperatures soar, sky are crystal clear, and game watching is at its best. It makes sense that this would be the busiest season for tourism. A second, shorter dry season, however, occurs from the end of December (in time for Christmas!) until the beginning of February. Typically, precipitation occurs between March and May, and then again for a shorter period in late October or early November. However, despite the rain, you shouldn't cancel your trip to Tanzania. Thunderstorms are often brief but stunning, and there is no drizzle as you'd get in the north. Game viewing in the Serengeti is excellent (there are often many newborns to see among the lovely green grass), and there are many migratory birds to see in the Ruaha and Tarangire national parks.
