He later attended Medical school in Calgary's Cumming School of Medicine. His postgraduate education began at University of Calgary, with a training program in the field of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

His fellowship training was in Hand and Microsurgery in the Christine M. Kleinert Institute and University of Louisville Hospitals in Louisville, Kentucky.

Then, he became plastic surgeon in Louisville, Kentucky, before then returning home to Alberta.

Dr. Graham is board certified in Plastic Surgery by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and qualified by the American Board of Plastic Surgeons in the United States.
