It has options for everything thanks to its spells

Because the player base tends not to hang out in the zone much at all, players can loot Dark And Darker Gold and explore while having a general notion of what direction opponents may be coming from. If the zone is covering two out of three exits in a room, it's likely that if anyone shows up, it'll be from the uncovered one. And, in the rare circumstances where this method doesn't work and players don't stumble across any Blue Headstones, their chances only increase the longer the game goes on.

After all, as the circle gets smaller and smaller, fewer people are in the game as most have already extracted. So, more often than not, the only people remaining near the end are overly greedy players who looted for too long, other patient players waiting for their uncontested Blue Headstone, or the rare bloodthirsty player who stuck around for just one more chance at PvP combat.

Out of the 6 classes currently available in the last couple of Dark and Darker alpha tests (with the next one coming up), there are some that work great in a team and others that shine surprisingly bright as a solo character. To be honest, all of the classes in this dungeon-crawling battle royale-type game can work for solo players as long as they understand the pros and the cons of each class as well as what situations to look out for.

But, on average, these are the classes that tend to work best for solo players just looking to get out with their loot. Starting with the class that probably has the highest overall skill ceiling, the Wizard. The Wizard might not seem like a good solo class considering it has to constantly meditate to recharge spell casts, is incredibly squishy, and doesn't have any natural healing tools, but that's a mistaken assumption.

The Wizard, at least in the hands of a pro, is one of the best solo classes simply because it has options for everything thanks to its spells. The Wizard has AoE spells for fighting teams such as Fireball or Chain Lightning, they have Haste so they're always able to stay at a distance cheap Dark And Darker Gold, Invisibility for sneak attacks, and even slowing spells like Ice Bolt or Slow to stop any fast-approaching Rogues.
