Walnuts, almonds and cashews are some dry fruits that provide healthy nutrients. Nuts are known as Dry fruits in several parts of the world. Nuts can be taken as evening snacks. Doctors advised, eating Almonds in the morning breakfast with a cup of hot milk has numerous benefits.

1.Almonds 

Almonds (Badaam) are sweet white nuts with a brown salty outer cover. 10g of almonds contains 58 calories, 2.1g of proteins, 4.9g of fat, 1.9g of carbs, and 1.2g of fibre. Studies have stated that 60 grams of almonds daily controls blood sugar level, improves memory and fertility and reduces cholesterol. 

A smoothie Recipe

Take a handful of kashmiri mamra almonds, one banana, Half a cup of milk or water, honey, and half a spoon of coffee powder. Mix it into a smoothie. 

The almond smoothie is ready, perfect for breakfast. It will keep you full throughout the day. I call it kasmiri mamra badam cappuccino.

2. Cashews

Cashew nuts (Kaaju) have two-layer shells looking like the shape of a kidney. Cashew nuts are added to various Indian sweet dishes like Kheer, Mithai, and Halwa and a special famous sweet dish "Kaaju and Katri", made only from Cashews. 10g of Cashews contains 56 calories, 1.2g of proteins, 4.2g of fat, 2.2g of carbs, and 0.2g of fibre. Minerals like magnesium and zinc are abundant in cashew nuts. Studies found that regular intake of cashews reduces triglyceride levels and blood pressure.
