History
Cranfield University was established in 1946 as the College of Aeronautics, and today it is one of the top research and educational institutions in the UK for postgraduate engineering studies. The Cranfield Campus was initially constructed on a Royal Air Force facility in Bedfordshire, England. Location
Milton Keynes and Bedford are the closest cities, and it takes about 40 minutes by train to get to Cranfield University's campus from central London. The university is ideally close to the London Luton airport, and trains and coaches make it simple to get to Heathrow, Gatwick, and Stansted airports as well.
Train travel to Cranfield Defence and Security from Bristol and London takes around 25 and 50 minutes, respectively. One hour of driving will get you to Bath, Cheltenham, Bristol, and Oxford, while less than two hours will get you to London.
