Introduction:

Start to design Safe, Reliable and Stable distribution system

Design is not just calculations of some equipment, designing depends on many factors:

• Environmental factor

• Expectations of the client

• Future Expansion Plan

• Occupants Lifestyle

• Type of the project (residential, commercial, institutional or public buildings)

By considering the above-mentioned factors, the selection of correct and appropriate size and type of equipment or a device is the name of Designing.

And the consideration factors are defined by different engineering societies such as NEC, IEC, IEEE, NEMA, ANSI, etc., national and local authorities such as DEWA, BIS, BS, ISI, municipal corporations, etc.

Type of project discussed in the course:

1. Residential Buildings: High rise residential buildings, Low rise, Bungalows, etc.

2. Commercial Buildings: Shopping centers, Malls, Transport terminals (Airports, Metro         Stations, railways stations, Bus terminals, Taxi terminals), Restaurants, Hotels, etc.

3. Institutional and Public Buildings: Schools, Colleges, Hospitals, Religious buildings, Sports Arena, Government buildings, etc.

Introduction

Welcome to the course on MEP – HVAC. In this course we will learn about the design and engineering of HVAC Systems, focusing on the HVAC System application. We will cover the Heat Load Calculations, ESP Calculations, selection of fans and pump.

You will learn about the Chiller system incorporating HVAC Systems, about the Cooling Tower selection and chilled water pipe selection. We will also cover the selection of the VRF System. The toilet, Kitchen, and Car Parking Ventilations are also covered.

In this course, you will also gain an understanding of the relevant codes and standards, ensuring that you can design HVAC that meets safety and regulatory requirements. You will also get hands-on experience using AutoCAD, which are powerful tools used in the MEP engineering industry.

In this course, you will also gain knowledge of the relevant codes and standards like NBC, NFPA, IS Codes, ensuring that you can design Plumbing & Fire Fighting System that meet safety and regulatory requirements. You will also get hands-on experience using AutoCAD, which are powerful tools used in the MEP engineering industry.

Introduction:

Welcome to the Electrical Learning Portal’s QA/QC Training Program, meticulously crafted for aspiring Electrical Engineers. Embark on a comprehensive journey through the intricacies of quality management, starting with fundamental concepts, job descriptions, and general requirements in Module 1. This foundation is crucial for professionals seeking to excel in both project and corporate settings.

In Module 2, explore the expansive realm of power industries, delving into power system basics, electrical power generation, transmission, distribution, and the various codes and standards that govern the industry. This knowledge lays the groundwork for a robust understanding of the diverse facets within electrical engineering.

Module 3 takes a practical approach, focusing on quality system inspections, documentations, and procedures. From quality sampling methods to Project Quality Plans (PQP) and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) for electrical equipment, participants gain hands-on experience essential for effective quality assurance and control.

Modules 4 and 5 delve into the quantitative aspects of quality management. Understand Statistical Quality Control (SQC) concepts, including basic statistics, normal distribution, and Statistical Process Control (SPC). Master the application of the seven QC tools, such as Histograms and Pareto Charts, ensuring a well-rounded skill set for quality assessment.

Continuing through Modules 6 to 11, participants explore advanced topics such as ISO 9001:2015, Lean Six Sigma, Seven Wastages of Lean, Supplier Quality Management, Cost of Quality, and Business Process Reengineering. This comprehensive program aims to equip Electrical Engineers with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in the dynamic and demanding field of electrical engineering.

Introduction:

To take full advantage of Building Information Modelling, the Autodesk Revit MEP: Fundamentals training course has been designed to train the engineers with the concepts and principles of creating 3D parametric models of MEP system from engineering design through construction documentation

The training course is intended to introduce learners to the software’s user interface and the HVAC, electrical, and piping/plumbing components that make the Autodesk Revit software a powerful and flexible engineering modeling tool. The training course will also familiarize learners with the tools required to create, document, and print the parametric model. The examples and practices are designed to take the students through the basics of a full MEP project from linking an architectural model to construction documents.

Introduction:

In an era where the world relies heavily on electricity for almost every aspect of daily life, ensuring the reliable and uninterrupted supply of electrical power is of paramount importance. Power systems, whether they operate at High Voltage (HV), Medium Voltage (MV), or Low Voltage (LV), are the backbone of modern society, facilitating the transmission and distribution of electrical energy to homes, industries, and businesses. To safeguard these complex and vital power systems from operational disturbances, faults, and unexpected events, robust protection strategies are indispensable.

The “Power System Protection (HV/MV/LV) Training Program” has been meticulously designed to equip engineers, technicians, and power system professionals with the essential knowledge and skills required to understand, implement, and maintain effective protection systems across different voltage levels. This comprehensive program delves deep into the intricacies of power system protection, covering a wide spectrum of topics, from fundamental principles to advanced techniques.
