The upcoming Boruto chapter will be written by Masashi Kishimoto, the original writer for the hit shonen manga Naruto and Naruto: Shippuden.
And Naruto fans can’t help but look back at Boruto once again.Unlike Naruto, Boruto didn’t receive the same love and support from the manga community.
Still, Boruto is getting a lot of attention in the new arc, where Naruto is rumored to be eradicated by Isshiki. In the latest Boruto chapter, Sasuke and Boruto are dying at the hands of Isshiki while Naruto is still standing strong with his newly found baryon mode.
The new form allows Naruto to use Nine-Tails Chakra and his chakra simultaneously to create an original energy source. The former Boruto writer, Ukyō Kodachi, who is best known for his contribution as a writer in Danganronpa 3: The End of Hope’s Peak High School: Despair Arc, Fate/Grand Order -Absolute Demonic Front: Babylonia and Magical Girl Spec-Ops Asuka affirmed that he was required to write up to the first 13 volumes of Boruto. As per the contract, after volume 13, the Boruto manga will be transferred to the original Naruto writer, Masashi Kishimoto, while illustrator Mikio Ikemoto will work alongside him.Naruto fans were not pleased with Boruto as a series because the show was mostly about the rebellious attitude of Boruto.
If we compared Naruto to Boruto, Naruto started from nothing and became the strongest ninja in the ninja world and even took over as the Seventh Hokage of the Konoha village.
But with Masashi Kishimoto returning to the writing, fans expect the same boldness and intensity in the Boruto manga, which was the USP of Naruto’s reign as the best shonen in the history of anime entertainment. The alleged death of Naruto and Sasuke have shaken the core of the Boruto series.
