Normally, the blood glucose level in the blood of our body is controlled by insulin, a hormone produced by the pancreas.

A fact sheet on diabetes was also produced by the World Health Organization (WHO) that approximately 3.4 million deaths are caused due to high blood sugar (Diabetes) in India.

The study also published in the ‘Lancet Diabetes & Endocrinology’ journal, that the amount of insulin needed will also increase effectively by more than 20 percent worldwide over the next 12 years.

Simultaneously, global data on insulin use revealed that the requirement of Insulin will rise from 526 million 1000-unit vials in 2018 to 634 million in 2030.

Doctors say that if patients maintain regularity to medication and lifestyle modifications then diabetes can be managed and this can help them lead a normal life.

Not only this, if people also do not get monitored of diabetes also results in an increased risk of vascular complications like cardiovascular, renal, neural and visual disorders which are related to the duration of the disease.
