5 Centimeters of the Liner Sand, can Withstand Water Pressure of up to 41 Meters.
A Simple Experiment:
Inside the 3 meter tube shown on the left side of the video is dumped with 10 cm of regular construction send at bottom, 3 cm of the liner sand in the middle and 5 more cm of the regular sand on top.
A hose is lowered down the tube just above the sand and fill the tube with water slowly without disturbing the sand.
Result: The water bucket at the bottom of the tube stays dry for weeks during the experiment, and the water level visible from the top stays constant minus some normal evaporation.
