- Verify caps lock is off and your email address is written correctly.
- Clear your browser history (here for Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer).
- Try to sign in to your account from any other internet browser.
You Can Configure Your Microsoft Account and Reset Your Password by Following These Steps:
- Go to the Recover Your Account page.
- Use the email address, phone number, or Skype ID when you created your Microsoft account. It can be an email address, or an email ending in a Microsoft domain like Hotmail.com or Outlook.com.
- If you have security information for your account, we will send the code to the alternate phone number or email address provided to you. Then after entering that code on the next screen you will be able to set a new password.
- Enter your new password, then choose Next.
