Some of the amazing health benefits of drinking green tea include improved weight loss, brain function, and a reduced risk of cancer and many other illnesses like heart disease.

Previous researchers had revealed that tea intake is beneficial to human health and the positive effects include mood improvement and cardiovascular disease prevention.

The elderly participants were also supposed to undergo neuropsychological tests and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).

The results were unbelievable, the participants’ cognitive performance and imaging results showed that individuals who consumed green tea, oolong tea, or black tea at least four times a week for about 25 years had efficient interconnected brain regions.

The combination of the two compounds caffeine and L-theanine has been particularly credited with improving brain function.

However, it is suggested that the fat burning effects may vary in individuals as some studies on green tea says it does not produce any increase in metabolism.
