Marketers are well-known about the importance of social media. They know, it can either make or break any business. Every year millions of users create accounts on different social media platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Twitter etc. If use it wisely, it helps in catching more customers across the globe and if not it will adversely affect business. The world of social media was initially dominated by marketers but now a days, HR recruiters are also gaining benefits of it in recruiting candidates.

Social media recruitment is emerging as a new platform for recruiters to hire the best talent for their organizations. There are many recruiters who are seeking a help of the combination of self-assessment tool and social media in hiring to get the more precise result. The article will help you to know what are the social media strategies you need to implement today to figure out the top talent for your company.

  • Facebook: Your business is likely to have an account or page on Facebook which can be the best platform for recruiting. Your followers or fans who are already aware and interested in your services or products could be interested in working with you. Take this benefit and try to engage your audience with new opportunities at your company.

Another great option for reaching more potential candidates is posting positions in several groups. For example, if there is a group named "Washington start-up jobs",  join the group and post your job opening with required skills and experience. It is a great platform to share specific job requirements and updates. As a recruiter, you can post specific jobs on your company's page as well as on several relevant groups.

 

  • Twitter: You can do the same thing you did on Facebook and LinkedIn. The additional benefits of using Twitter is it not reach out to your followers but also to anybody who is searching for related keywords or hashtag or location. For example, if you include hashtags such as #marketingjob, #recruitment, #hiring, #staffing etc. then anyone who is searching for these has tags there may be a chance your post will rank high.

 

There are several other social media platforms like Snapchat, Instagram, Pinterest etc. that can be used for hiring the best talent based on company niche.
