Houses in different countries

Few people pay attention to how differently houses are built in countries around the world. Nobody practically thinks about it and yet the differences in architecture, style and ways of building are huge.

Everything depends on the country

Anyone who is in another country will immediately notice the difference between the Polish environment and those in a different culture. Despite the fact that we are dealing with increasingly progressive globalization processes, homes make a difference. We can even say that they are the backbone of our national identity.

Europe

You don't have to go far to notice significant differences in the location of buildings in the villages or on the outskirts of the city. The best example is Germany. Their houses stand in equal rows along the streets. All the elements look neat and well cared for, worked out in the smallest detail. The German solidity and accuracy can be seen immediately. But the most characteristic feature is the lack of fences. In front of the house there is only a piece of unfenced lawn. For a Pole this picture is quite a strange one, because here everyone puts up as big fences as possible to cut themselves off from their neighbours. This may indicate a lack of trust or aversion to others. It is puzzling that the Germans have no problems with it.

USA

The United States has been mocked in Europe for a very long time because of its construction. After various natural disasters such as tornadoes and hurricanes, you can see their houses scattered all over the area. In Poland it is common to say that in the United States they have houses made of cardboard. However, this may be due to the fact that it is cheaper, easier and faster for them to build a new house "out of cardboard" than to repair the damage caused by nature for a long time. Besides, in the larger cities in the USA, the architecture is impressive and there are few cities in Europe that can match it.

The examples of these countries clearly show that each country has different trends in construction and architecture. It is impossible to name all the countries that stand out from the others. The best way to find out that this is the case is to see it all with your own eyes.
