120HZ display is the feature of highlight for the upcoming OnerPlus 8 Pro. The company published a video on Twitter showing the 120Hz display so surely OnePlus 8 Pro will pack that.

But not only this, OnePlus may bring one of the most requested features by the fans finally on board with its next flagship, and that is Wireless charging. The company has claimed in the past that wireless charging is not yet fast enough. So the best way for OnePlus devices is to use their Dash Charge technology.

OnePlus is the only company in the industry which has not yet provided wireless charging with any of their phones. In a way, the company is also right to stick with their Dash charge technology as it is one of the fastest charging technology we currently have.

OnePlus 8 Pro will definitely have Dash charging even if packs wireless charging. It looks like the company has improved the wireless charging technology in some way. It is not likely for the company to gamble on such not so sure technology. The news came when a Samsung leaker posted on Twitter, showing wireless charging with a phone on top.

The renders do not indicate in any way that it is a OnePlus 8 device. It is just an image Max J created to showcase the possible feature. It is indeed a possibility that OnePlus 8 Pro might feature wireless charging.

No matter how much improved wireless technology does OnePlus brings, it can never be as good as wired charging. We are a few years short of the wireless charging revolution. Nevertheless, it is the future, and who knows something better may come along no one know what can happen.

We are in a constantly changing world; a few years back, a notch was never a real thing, but in 1-2 years, it can vanish, as cameras under the display are a real thing now. While OnePlus phones pack powerful specs, there is only two feature where they’ve fallen short, Wireless charging and Waterproof ratings.

With the launch of OnePlus 8 Pro, the company should decide to include one of these features to gain an advantage over the upcoming iPhone 12 & iPhone 9. Not to mention Samsung has entered mid-range to compete with OnePlus with its Galaxy Note 10 Lite and Galaxy S10 Lite.

The price is expected to increase, as we have seen with OnePlus devices every year. But it certainly won’t be the costliest OnePlus device; that spot will be taken by ‘OnePlus Concept One,’ which the company showcased in CES 2020. That is if they decide to put the device in actual production.
