Euro 2020 - France brought back 17 players of the World Cup-winning squad including Adil Rami

Euro 2020 is set to take place in 12 cities in 12 UEFA countries from 12 June to 12 July 2020. The defending champion of the 2016 edition, is Portugal. For the first time, the Video assistant referee (VAR) will be used during the UEFA European Championship.

France qualified for the EURO 2020 tournament this summer after Turkey and Iceland drew 0-0 earlier in the evening at Turk Telekom Stadium. Sports enthusiasts from around the world can purchase the France Euro Cup Tickets online to enjoy its stunning performances.

Didier Deschamps kept his faith in his World Cup-winning team and brought back 17 of the World Cup-winning players into the fold with Adil Rami, Benjamin Mendy, Lucas Hernandez, Corentin Tolisso, Steven N'Zonzi and Ousmane Dembele players who were dropped.

French defender Adil Rami, World Cup winner, who counts Marseille, Seville and AC Milan among his former clubs, wants to get away from the Turkish Fenerbahce team this month after having played two games this season. And Phillip Cocu's side has been tipped to launch a daring attempt to land the defender just three days from the January transfer window.

Didier Deschamps, however, had to make a small change in his team with Thomas Lemar replacing Anthony Martial after the Manchester United winger was excluded with an injury.

There are no new faces in the ridiculously talented French team that has seen the tastes of Alexandre Lacazette, Sebastian Haller and Aymeric Laporte snub. With an average age of 26 and a team composed mainly of players who have won the World Cup, France will look to pass its qualifying matches without any hassle.

The Blues are expected to align their winning World Cup 4-2-3-1 formation with Didier Deschamps who is not known to make any changes to his roster. Hugo Lloris should once again be in front of the net.

Lucas Digne should continue his race as a left-back starting with Deschamps opting for the Everton player instead of Lucas Hernandez.

Despite the poor form with the club, Raphael Varane should associate Samuel Umtiti, who has also had a bad season so far with an injury limiting his playing time, at the soul of the defense with Benjamin Pavard occupying the right back.

Didier Deschamps opted for the same midfielder that earned him the World Cup with the French manager tinkering with his players only when they face inferior opponents or when part of his first-team came out injured. N'Golo Kante and Paul Pogba's impressive combination is sure to start against Iceland with Ndombele likely to nod in their opening match against Moldova.

Kylian Mbappe, Antoine Greizmann, and Blaise Matuidi are once again likely to be the first XI of Deschamps with Thauvin, Coman or Fekir likely to wink during one of their matches.

France Squad:

Goalkeepers: Steve Mandanda, Hugo Lloris, Alphonse Areola

Defenders: Djibril Sidibe, Lucas Digne, Samuel Umtiti, Raphael Varane, Layvin Kurzawa, Benjamin Pavard, Kurt Zouma, Presnel Kimpembe

Midfielders: Paul Pogba, Blaise Matuidi, N'Golo Kante, Tanguy Ndombele, Moussa Sissoko

Forwards: Nabil Fekir, Antoine Griezmann, Kylian Mbappe, Thomas Lemar, Olivier Giroud, Florian Thauvin, Kingsley Coman
