Lunchtime liquors

Lunchtime is related to food, but not only that, but also to drinking. Quite often we forget about this important life activity leading to dehydration.

In order to prevent this, here are some valuable tips which will not only prevent your body from being dehydrated, but will also support digestion of the consumed meal.

Dry wine

As the name suggests, the wine helps digestion. This type of wine is most often used on the tables in combination with starters, fish, while white table wines are best suited to white meat. Moreover, a universal and analogous rule is that red wines should be served with red meat. Wine with high alcohol content should be served with fatty dishes. Such a combination will have an additional positive effect on the digestion of heavy meals. It should be remembered, however, that despite the richness of flavours, types and varieties, wine is not a universal beverage, complimenting all dishes.

Wine is a drink which is highly appreciated among Poles. It is one of the drinks we use most often when celebrating special occasions, while the alcohol content along with availability contributes to the fact that even children already taste this drink - at least in the Catholic church during the service.

Golden whiskey

Irish whiskey used to be only served in elegant courts and beautiful palaces. It is now more common. Irish whiskey will work well in combination with a lunch, where meat and fatty dishes are served. A tart taste and a small amount of sugar will improve digestion and the taste of the food consumed will take on an above-average dimension. In addition, this beverage is excellent as a coffee or cognac substitute. Always serve whiskey after the main course and since it is a strong drink, you no longer need to serve so-called snacks.

Sweet liquor

Liqueur, due to the fact that it contains a large amount of sugar in its structure, does not taste good as an addition to lunch, which is different to lunch. Those who enjoy sweets should taste the combination of dough and vanilla liqueur. Such a combination is most often to the taste of women. What's interesting, the liqueur also works well as an addition to doughnuts, cakes or grandmothers. In view of the upcoming Fat Thursday, take advantage of this valuable advice for culinary baked goods.
