How to make ombre hair with honey and parsley?

You dream of ombre hair, but are you afraid of damaged ends? Just look at the methods used by our grandmothers and moms. It's no longer known from now on that it's enough to use chamomile, parsley root or honey to lighten your hair. How? Read this article.

Ombre hair has not been out of fashion for several seasons. Lightening the ends has become a real hit, not only abroad but also in Poland. You can brighten your hair with colour, but also with plants or herbs. The wonderful properties of chamomile, honey or parsley were discovered long ago.

Natural methods of "colouring" hair have many advantages, one of the biggest is that they do not destroy hair like chemical agents, so it is worth getting to know them. Apart from numerous advantages they also have one disadvantage: they require patience. It is not enough to use them once - the methods presented here should be used for several weeks until the desired effect is achieved.

To make ombre hair you can use parsley root, which colours your hair to an ashy shade. Peel and cut the parsley into several pieces and cook for 20 minutes in a small pot in 200 ml of water. Once cooled, soak the ends of the hair and wrap in foil. Leave for a few hours, preferably overnight.

In the same way you can lighten your hair with camomile, but unlike parsley root, camomile will lighten the hair yellow.

Another "brightener" is honey, which will further nourish your hair. Mix 2-3 teaspoonfuls of honey with 2 teaspoons of warm water (not hot!), set aside for 5 minutes. Apply to the ends, wrap in foil and leave for a few hours, preferably overnight. This is not the most convenient form of lightening, but the hair will become shiny and soft.

If, in addition to the ombre hair, you want to nourish your hair, just add a bit of conditioner or oil (e.g. argan oil) to the honey and water. This will make it easier to apply the honey and make your hair smooth and nourished.
