Amazon Echo Studio vs. Google Home Max

Music is the best way to overcome the ups and downs of life. We often celebrate special occasions, and we can not even imagine a party without music. But what if I say, you can have the best music experience at your home. Today we are going to compare Amazon Echo Studio and Google Home Max. Both the speakers are excellent and have some fantastic features. So, let’s get started.

Design

Amazon Echo Studio has a very traditional design covered with premium fabric. It is cylindrical in shape with space towards the bottom that creates amazing sound reverberation. The top part of the speaker has an amazing interface with the traditional Alexa light, and several buttons to control power and volume of the speaker. Its design is very compatible, and you can place it in all types of locations.

Google Home Max spreads around 13 inches wide and approximately 7 inches tall. It has 3 LED lights that indicate the speaker’s status and the best thing about this speaker is, it has a touch bar on the top for power and volume controls. The speaker is designed to face outward, so it is not very good for 360-degree sound.

Sound

The Echo Studio contains five speakers, and all the speakers are placed in different directions. It has a 1-inch wide tweeter, 5.25-inch woofer for bass, and three mid-range speakers that are 2 inches wide. Because of the adjustment of the speakers in different directions, this device provides a fantastic 360-degree sound. It has Alexa for voice assistant. The speaker’s sound is pretty impressive.

Google Home Max contains two 0.7-inch tweeters and two dual-voice coil woofers measuring 4.5 inches that gives you an excellent bass and audio sound. It has Google’s sound optimization that manages the sound automatically based on the room’s acoustics. This speaker has Google Assistant support for voice commands that works pretty well even when the music is loud.

Compatibility

Both speakers have excellent compatibility with various online services, and the voice assistants are compatible with popular apps like Pandora, Spotify, etc.

Google Home Max can not be connected with a TV without wires, but the Echo Studio can. Echo Studio also supports Dolby Atmos technology along with 360 Reality Audio codecs.

Privacy

The most major concern with such speakers is the worry of spying by listening all the time, even when you don’t want them to listen to you. But it is not going to happen with you because both the speakers have privacy options. They have physical keys to control microphones. Once you turn the switch off, the mics will be disabled. Both the speakers allow you to delete your history of voice commands too.

Price

Both the speakers are available online at their respective company sites, and you can order them easily.

The Echo Home Max will cost you $200, and it has only one color (Basic charcoal color).

You can buy The Google Home Max for $300 and it is available in two different colors (Chalk along with Charcoal color options).

Both the devices are customized with different features. It depends on you what you like. One has Alexa voice assistant, and the other has Google Assistant support. One can be connected with your TV wirelessly the other can not. So, buy one of them which fulfills your requirements the most.
