Day 1: only fruits and water

On this day, I drank only fruits and about 8 to 12 glasses of water, except bananas. (This is the standard for seven days) Initially, it was a bit difficult because whenever I felt hungry, I could eat only fruits. At the end of the day, I felt a little better and lighter because I had not taken any carbs or fat. I would also like to tell you that I need to go to the bathroom again and again; I would like to thank the water for this.

Day 2: Ripe or raw vegetables, not fruits

At breakfast, I was very happy because finally, I could eat boiled potatoes (yay, real food!). Throughout the day, I kept eating raw veggies like cucumber and carrots. When I felt hungry, I would eat a bowl of boiled vegetables. Although I was allowed to eat as many vegetables as I wanted, I was not able to eat too much. By night, I did not eat as much as I thought.

Day 3: Fruits and Vegetables (not bananas and potatoes)

When I stood on the weighing machine on the third day, I was not happy because I had lost two kilos in two days. It really inspired me and I thought this diet would be a cakewalk for me. Eventually, I survived two days without carbs. So whenever I felt hungry, I decided to stick to fruits and vegetables. And water, a lot of water as well.

Day 4: Eight small bananas & 3 glasses of milk

The real trouble comes when the movement starts in both body and mind. But I would like to thank Fiber for this. My mind was constantly busy with thoughts of food, but I could only eat bananas because I was allergic to milk, so I replaced plain milk with low-fat yoghurt yogurt. Once after eating three bananas, I did not even like to eat bananas. At night, as I lay on my bed, I waited for the next day and was thinking about chicken and fish.

Day 5: Meat/fish and 6 tomatoes

I have opted for chicken and fish but if you are a vegetarian, you can have cottage cheese. You cannot leave tomatoes as it gives you fiber, which will help indigestion. Before I start describing this day, please note that by this point I started feeling cranky and irritable. Of course, my body was feeling light, but from the normal days I was feeling restless and low in energy. I was in great need of carbs and half of my mind was eating a plate of rice. But I did not fulfill my craving because I was determined to see it till the end.

Day 6: Meat and Vegetables (Skip Tomato)

This day was felt essentially the same as the previous day. Tomatoes were replaced with vegetables. There was really no real difference for me. By this point, eating food became a task for me and I did not even mind taking a single bite. My mother made my favorite grilled chicken and fish, but I was not excited to eat it at all. I did not talk to anyone throughout the day because I was feeling murderous due to a lack of food. Now I was left waiting for just one day.

Day 7: Brown rice, vegetables, and juice (fresh, uncanned)

I was looking forward to this day. I cunningly ate brown rice and vegetables at lunch and I went quietly to sleep and waited for the day to end. Of course, I had carbs but was so tired of difficulties that I felt no relief. For dinner, I ate a cup of vegetables and went to bed, hoping that I would have fulfilled my promise of four kilos, and started dreaming of eating.

When I checked my weight the next day, my weight had reduced by 5 kg and I was very happy, really happy.
