The same thing was also expecting for 2020 SAF. However, looking at the spread of the Pandemic COVID, the event was taken online or virtually. It was also a grand event, but virtually.

Indian Folk Art & Craft

Over the years, Serendipity Arts Festival has given honour to the finest craft and artwork of India. These workshops introduced experts of their fields who were imparting their knowledge to the world.

The artist has given new dimensions to the painting work with his monochromatic renditions, narrative poetry, and by adding various colors.

Gond Paintings

It is a form of painting from folk and tribal art that is practicing by a tribal, named Gond. The painting work is inspired by nature and is now in the trend. Do you love flying a kite? If yes, you have missed one of the best virtual workshops of SAF. Kite making was one of the most attractive workshops of 2020 SAF. The event was specially organized for children and revived the childhood memory of the people who loved flying kites. It was, Umar Daraja, a Delhi-based famous kite-making artist who conducted the workshop virtually by joining hands with SAF.

Accessibility Workshops

Since its inception, SAF has made conscious efforts to make the festival as accessible as possible to a diverse community of art lovers. The digital platform of SAF organized some creative and mental health workshops.

Found Object Portrait

Building a portrait with various objects that you find around your house was the theme of the project. It was all about using your creative sense to take out the best from waste.

Text Zentangle

The Zentangle workshop was focused on creating pattern designs and mindfulness to avoid random thoughts. Just like “Mandalas” it is a form of modern meditation where you play with geometric patterns.

Arty Tuesday

The workshop got inspiration from the Gond Art and encouraged children to create a new style of rendering and expression.

Inclusive Home Care Management

The present situation has restricted us to go out for shopping for home accessories. Why not use unused items of your home to create some useful items for decoration. The workshop was all about shifting your focus from unnecessary things to something necessary and creative.

SAF 2020 was a multidisciplinary event. Talk shows, dance, music, and culinary are some fields that attracted the audience to SAF.
