What is Web Development?

What is Web Development?

Web development is building and website maintenance; This is the work that occurs behind the scenes to make the website look great, work fast and perform well with a smooth user experience.

Types of Web Developers  And What They Do:

For many people outside the field of web development, it is not generally known that there are several types of web developers. In the world of developers, we really have dozens of titles that distinguish us from others based on our expertise and what we can make with it. Overall, web developers can be concluded into three common types with each meeting unique needs in the process of creating websites to see the whole world.

We are having two alternate fields  i.e. Web Development and Web Design. Web design improves on website design and exhibition that utilizes design software, while web development is repaired to make it induced code and development methods.

The Front-End Developer:

Front-end developers are responsible for making display components, nuances, and interactive from the website. They are often mistaken as the only role in web development and are confused by the role of a web designer. How text, images, and colors are displayed on the website when you see it on your phone, tablet, or computer is what is made by the front-end developer. Ever seen the color-changing button when you drift on it or appear appears when you click something on the page? That was what was created by the front-end developer. They make sure everything you see is organized, fun aesthetic, and functional.

To achieve all this, front-end developers generally write in (but not limited to) the following programming languages:

  • HTML
  • CSS
  • JavaScript
  • J Query
  • React
  • AngularJS

The Back-End Developer:

Back-end developers have one of the most important roles in web development. They make and maintain what is under the hood to keep your website run and function properly. Back-end developers write what is called a server-side code to ensure data flows back and forth from the front-end of the website (what users see and interact with) to the back-end (server, database, etc.). The best example of this will be an online store. Prices and product images are stored in the database hosted on the server. When it's time to update the price or start automatic vacation sales, product information and prices are updated on the database that then displays on the website. When you checkout and process the transaction, all of them function because the back-end developer makes it like. They write code that makes all easy-to-use functions (most of the time) possible.Back-end developers can program in various programming languages  depending on what needs to be done.

Typical programming languages a back end developer writes in include:

  • Java
  • PHP
  • Ruby and Ruby On Rails
  • C#
  • MySQL
  • MongoDB

The Full-Stack Developer :

Full-stack developers are a unique type of developer because they can program and work in the front-end and back-end website sections. They can really make the entire website that functions and dynamically itself (if they choose) because they understand both ends of web development. Full-stack developers tend to have skills in coding in various programming languages and knowledge and experience tend to be a wide mile. Therefore, they generally work well with front-end developers and back-end during the development process.

While they understand and can do work from front-end developers and back-end, many full-stack developers usually don't have mastery in a good role. Some are usually better in both front or back-end development. There are full stack developers who have mastery of both developments but they are rare and difficult to obtain. Diverse knowledge of full-stack developers helps speed up the web development process and solve any problems that can occur on the front or back of a site.

Comparing Front-End and Back-End Development

Front-end development takes care of layouts, design, and interactivity using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. They take conceptions from the drawing board and turn them into authenticity.

The back-end developer engineers occur behind the scenes. This is where the data is saved, and without this data, there will be no front-end. The back of the web consists of servers that host websites, applications to run it, and databases to contain data.

What about Full-Stack Development?

Full stacker takes care of front-end and back-end and needs to know how the web works at all levels, to determine how the clients and servers will be related. Naturally works until this level of expertise will take longer, because there is more to learn.
