MELISSA ESSENTIAL OIL USES AND BENEFITS

Allergies
Several ounces of water, 1 drop of Melissa essential oil, 1 drop of Lavender, and 1 drop of Peppermint essential oil, swish about in the mouth, and swallow (only if using a brand suitable for internal use). Alternatively, you can use this solution on the soles of your feet.

Anxiety
Melissa oil is thought to soothe anxiety and is a moderate sedative in short dosages. Put a drop in your palm, massage it between your hands, cup your nose and mouth, and slowly breathe for 30 seconds or more.

Infections caused by bacteria
Apply 1 drop to the affected region or massage the foot reflex points if possible.

Bronchitis\sMassage 1 drop on the neck and chest up to 3 times a day, or massage into the reflex points of the feet

Calming
Place a drop of Melissa between your palms, rub your hands together, cup your nose and mouth, and breathe slowly for 30 seconds or more.

Massage 1-2 drops of cold oil into the soles of the feet or any other problematic area.

Sore Throats
Melissa essential oil is put to such good use in this recipe! As soon as you see a cold sore developing, dab a little amount directly on the affected region and repeat many times throughout the day.

Coughs\sMassage 1 drop in the throat and chest up to 3 times a day, or massage into the reflex points of the feet

Dementia
Melissa essential oil is a safe and efficient medication for the control of agitation in severe dementia, according to a recent study published in the Journal of Complementary Medicine. Place a drop of Melissa between your palms, rub your hands together, cup your nose and mouth, and breathe slowly for 30 seconds or more. Repeat as needed to increase the level of annoyance.

Depression
Place a drop of Melissa essential oil between your palms, rub them, cup over your nose and mouth, and slowly breathe for 30 seconds or more. Do this on a daily basis or as needed.

Eczema Dilute 1 drop of Melissa oil with 3-4 drops of carrier oil and apply a tiny amount 1-3 times a day to the affected area.

Massage for Emotional Support 1 drop over the heart and solar plexus. In tiny dosages, it's a moderate sedative that's thought to help with anxiety.

Energy\sInhale For a quick pick-me-up, drop one drop into your palms, or distribute throughout the room. Alternatively, gently apply 2 drops Melissa essential oil with 4 drops Wild Orange and 1 tablespoon carrier oil onto the bottoms of your feet or anywhere else that feels relaxing.

Flu
Massage 1-2 drops into the feet's reflex points or any problematic area.

Migranes and Headaches
Apply 2 drops Melissa to 1 teaspoon carrier oil to the temples, forehead, and neck.

Herpes
To encourage remission, only one drop is required on lesions... Melissa Oil use induced a complete remission of Herpes Simplex lesions, according to a doctor from the Technical University of Munich. Apply a little amount (up to 1 drop) 3 times a day to any outbreak and/or use for long-term support.

Hopelessness\ Massage 1 drop on the solar plexus, the heart, or the brow Throughout the day, diffuse.

Hypertension
Inhale 3 or more times a day from the bottle, or apply melissa topically to any problematic area.

Indigestion
To massage the abdomen, use 4 drops Melissa, 4 drops Grapefruit, 2 drops Peppermint, and 1 tablespoon carrier oil in a clockwise motion.

Overwhelm

Massage the bottoms of your feet or the centre of your abdomen. You can also combine formulas. 4 tblsp Bergamot, 4 tblsp Fennel, 3 tblsp Melissa 1 tbsp carrier oil, added to a warm or hot bath Relax and enjoy the water till it cools down.
