Chardham yatra: Full details

The Chardham Yatra is arguably India's most sacred pilgrimage. It includes visits to Kedarnath Temple, Badrinath Temple, Gangotri Temple, and Yamunotri Temple, which are all part of the Chardham Temples. Every one of these Chardhams is located in Uttarakhand's high elevation mountains and may be accessible by road or air.

Many adventurers prefer the Chardham Yatra tour package by helicopter because the Chardham route is particularly extensive and can take up to 10-12 days to complete on foot. Helicopter administration to Chardham Yatra is substantially more beneficial for advanced age explorers or those who do not have enough time to travel by road.

Day 1: Visit Yamunotri

Yamunotri is a must-see destination.

The sacred Chardham yatra by helicopter will depart from Sahastradhara Helipad in the morning. We'll take off for the Kharsali helipad (The helipad for Yamunotri). Our ground personnel greets guests upon arrival at Kharsali. Palki will take you on a 6-kilometer hike to the temple. It will take approximately 4 hours to complete the journey.

We will return to Kharsali Helipad after darshan to depart for Gangotri.

Day 2: Visit Gangotri

Pay a visit to Gangotri.

We will fly from Kharsali Helipad to Harsil Helipad, which is the closest helipad to Gangotri Temple. Harsil, popularly known as Mini Switzerland, is one of Uttrakhand's most lovely and attractive valleys.

The Harsil helipad is around 22 kilometers from the Gangotri temple, which will be covered by a car. There are several beautiful sites along the journey where you may take in the natural splendour.

After Darshan, Harsil will be accommodated at Himalayan Nature Resort, which is about 2 kilometers from the helipad. Throughout their stay at Harsil, our ground crew will be available to help guests.

Day 3: Kedarnath

Kedarnath is a must-see destination.

Kedarnath is the most isolated of the four Char Dham shrines, surrounded by beautiful snow-capped peaks.

From Gangotri, we will fly to Phata helipad, where we will change choppers and go to KEDARNATH. The temple is around 500 meters from the helipad and takes approximately 10 minutes to reach.

We shall return to Phata Helipad and change helicopters for Badrinath once the Darshan is done.

Day 4: Badrinath

Badrinath is a must-see destination.

We will fly to Badrinath Helipad from Phata Helipad. The temple is approximately 1 kilometer from the helipad and takes approximately io minutes to reach by our pre-arranged automobile.

The average elevation in Badrinath is 3,100 meters. Shankara discovered a black stone image of Lord Badrinarayan made of Saligram stone in the Alak Nanda River, according to mythology.

Our local personnel had pre-arranged the exclusive Darshan (VIP Pooja).

Following Darshan, we will fly back to Sahastradhara from Chardham Yatra by helicopter, bringing our wonderful journey to a close.
