Can CBD cause sweating?

Sweating isn't a good thing. It's uncomfortable, it can be embarrassing, and it can make you feel like you have to take a shower. So when you're thinking about trying CBD oil for yourself, you may be wondering if it's going to make you sweat more than usual.

We know that CBD oil has a lot of benefits—so many that we've made a list of them all here! But one thing we don't want is for it to make us sweat more than usual. So we dug through some studies and found out whether or not this could be an issue with CBD oil.

Here's the scoop: so far there haven't been any studies on CBD oil and sweating specifically, but there are plenty of other studies about cannabis and sweating that we can draw from. When it comes down to it, though, there isn't any evidence that CBD causes excessive sweating in humans—but there are still some ways that it could contribute to your sweat levels.

For example, if you're experiencing anxiety or hot flashes while using CBD oil then that might cause unusual sweating patterns—but these aren't directly caused by the product itself!

As far as we can tell, the science is still out on whether or not cannabis is a miracle drug. But what we do know is that it's not going anywhere anytime soon, and that's a good thing!

Cannabis has been used medicinally for thousands of years, with some evidence suggesting that it was actually the first medicine ever used by humans. It's also been outlawed for just as long—the prohibition of cannabis started in 1911 and has had a pretty rough ride since then. But over the past few decades, more and more countries have begun to legalize marijuana for both medical and recreational uses. In fact, there are currently 29 U.S. states that allow medicinal marijuana use, as well as nine states that allow recreational use!

It's hard to say whether or not cannabis will be a miracle drug someday—but what we do know is that people are going to keep using it either way.

If you're finding yourself sweating excessively after consuming CBD, don't panic—you're not alone. It turns out that sweating can be caused by a number of different factors. For example, if you've just finished a workout and are drenched with sweat, you might think that your sweat glands are working overtime because of the heat or exercise. But in fact, this is just a normal bodily reaction to perceived stress—so even if you haven't been exercising or exposed to hot weather, you may still be sweating.

CBD is helpful for regulating the endocannabinoid system (ECS), which in turn helps maintain homeostasis between all other systems in the body. Excessive sweating from CBD consumption could potentially be explained by this, as sweat could be a side effect of the body's attempt to maintain normalcy within its functioning systems by means of detoxification. The body can also sweat as a way of cooling itself off when it feels overheated—but because CBD does not have any effect on body temperature or activity when administered alone, this seems unlikely to cause excessive sweating.
