Navana Group is one of Bangladesh's largest private sector groups and has a strong and distinguished business history. In the year 1953 Alhaj Jahurul Islam, one of the dynamic business magnets of Bangladesh started his journey through the establishment of a construction company, named Bengal Development Corporation (BDC) and soon enough successfully expanded his business into the real estate and automobile sector by setting up new companies i.e., Eastern Housing Limited and Navana Limited respectively. After the inception of Navana Limited (pre-arranged through agreement of TOYOTA of Japan under an exclusive distributorship, to market Toyota cars in the then East Pakistan) in the year 1964, the business throve rapidly and the formation of Islam Group took place under the Chairmanship of Alhaj Jahurul Islam.

In a country like Bangladesh, which had set a vision of moving forward in the digital perspective despite the volatile economic status quo, we are leaping ahead towards a great future. Despite the uneven global recovery, at Navana Group, we truly believe in endeavoring the best.

A core part of our long term strategy involves the yearning to serve country-wide customers in innumerable facets and creating a landmark through our products and services reflecting our brand image as a recall in every customer's cognizance.

Since the inception of Navana Group, our goal has always remained to follow the footsteps of our predecessor, my elder brother, Mr Alhaj Zahurul Islam. In 1971, during our liberation war, the founder chairman Mr. Alhaj Zahurul Islam was compelled to abscond the country, at that moment he empowered the entire business responsibility to me as his most trusted representative. We are a family run business with deep rooted pioneering spirit and a wealth of highly relevant experience. Our goal is to remain at the cutting edge of every industry and create a prominent value for all our stakeholders, surrounding communities and not to forget the wider economy.

Looking through the global economy which has been witnessing strong growth, we have been trying to empower our position by embracing the global perspectives in order to strengthen our future competitiveness by making bold investments in aspects that will draw a hand of contribution towards the society. We have been nourishing our core business striving to ensure a balanced approach adding value through managerial capabilities, as well as taking significant care towards the community through a wide range of corporate and socially responsive initiatives. Our execution in the business arena has marked 5 decades and continuing and we have been seeing a country which has been running with one voice and one mandate. We are thankful to our leaders and predecessors who have fought for our freedom and contributed towards the development of the economy, which has even lend a hand of progress flourishing our company countrywide.

Currently, we have more than 5500 employees from 27 different business units who are contributing to our organization towards a vibrant society creating a connection with a large customer base.
