There may be small variations in size as it is made on a handloom. There may also be some inconsistencies in weaving and dyeing, which add to the character of the stole.

Based in Mussoorie and Dehradun in the Garhwal Himalayas, we make handwoven shawls stoles and scarves using sheep wool, pashmina and Yak wool. All are coloured with natural dyes

All our products are hand made. We hand dye yarn with natural dyes in village masrana which is 8 kms from Mussoorie on the way to Dhanaulti. we use a number of naturally occurring materials, most of which are plants. These include sappanwood, madder, tesu (flame of the forest), indigo, pomegranate, myrobalan (harada), henna and shellac. The weaving is done on traditional looms in villages near Dehradun, India
