Style Guide to Men’s Hoodies

Hoodies come in a wide range of materials, from wool to cotton, and can be dressed up or worn on the street. Champion was the first company to make them in the 1930s. Since then, they've been used in a lot of different ways, such as by athletes or outdoor workers, as a way for young lawbreakers, especially graffiti artists, to hide their identities, and as a part of the punk, hip hop, and skater cultures. Today, people of any age can wear them with relaxed or stylish clothes. Hoodies are great for sitting at home, running quick errands, working out, or going on a date in the evening. It depends on how the hoodie is made, how it fits, and how you wear it.

Hoodies are an essential part of everyone's outfit. On the other hand, Ethanza's Classic Hoodie and Pullover Hoodie have a classic look and are made well, and they are sized right for shorter men.

What distinguishes a sweatshirt from a hoodie?

When you hear the word "sweatshirt," you probably think of a pullover shirt with a crew neck, ribbed cuffs and ends, and a fuzzy or looped back made of jersey knit fabric. This is the first sweatshirt ever made. A hoodie is a piece of clothing with a hood and, most of the time, a zipper pocket. Hoodies come in both zippered and open styles, and hoodies are one type of sweater.

Both Ethanza Hoodies are made with 11 oz of Upland cotton and 4% spandex, which gives them the stretch they need to be comfortable and useful. This is the same material that our All Day Sweatpants are made of. This lets you get a zip-up hoodie and sweatpants that go together. You have a full outfit if you add a Polo, Henley, Vintage Crew, or V-Neck tee in the same color or a different one.

The weight of Upland cotton is heavy enough to provide some warmth as an extra layer, but it is also light enough to be used as an underlayer all year round. The inside of these sweats isn't soft; it's just smooth jersey double knit. Every time, you get a fit that is made just for you. The sleeves are short, the waistband won't hang past your hips, the armholes won't hang to your elbow, and you won't feel like you're wearing a large fabric box. A tailor can change your jackets and hoodies, but it would be hard for them to do so without messing up the pockets and zippers.

Each jacket has been carefully made to be as useful as possible. The front zipper of the classic hoodie splits the kangaroo pocket in half. The hood is a traditional style with a seam down the middle. If you get stuck in the rain or snow and need to tighten the hood to keep it in place, there is a cord you can pull.

The colors of the Classic Hoodie go with or go well with the colors of our All Day Sweatpants. These basic pieces can be worn together or separately. You can mix and match them with your other casual clothes, and they will always look good.

Our pullover hoodie may be worn as an exterior layer (over a t-shirt) or as an inside layer beneath vests, denim jackets, bomber jackets, sportscoats, and overcoats. Because our cotton is a silky midweight, it may be dressed up for business casual. Our washed pullover hoodies come in blue, grey, burgundy, black, moss, and olive. As a result, they are even more useful.

The pullover hoodie is also interesting because the hole for the head is higher than a regular hoodie hole. The hood is more interesting because the two sides cross in front. The hood is made of three pieces instead of two. This makes the hood flatter against your back and fits closer to your head when pulled up, so it stays in place. No pull cords are needed, and the look is much cleaner and sleeker. The pocket goes to the bottom of the cuff, making an interesting shape. This also means the bag starts at your waist instead of your chest and is a good size.
