The pleurocarpous moss grows low to the ground and will be able to be green in no time.

A person can get moss at their local plant nursery.

It makes an excellent ground cover and can be planted under the taller tree where the sun may have trouble reaching.

Moss will help detain the soil if a person lives in an area with heavy rain.

If there are divots in the ground, the moss will grow in them, and it will show.

The area should be saturated with water.

Evergreen fences are homes to birds, insects, and most small mammals.

If you're thinking about planting an evergreen fence, remember that they're less expensive than most hardscape fences.

Most mature evergreen trees will grow beyond 8 feet, giving you complete privacy in an outdoor setting.

Choosing to plant an evergreen fence can save you tons of money.

Pick between Yew, Laurel, Photinia, or Privets to find a good hedge.

Fall Planting, Spring BloomsYour landscape can spring to life with the first spring rains when you plant perennial bulbs says Jackie, owner of Native Wildflowers Nursery.

You can plant perennial flower and fern bulbs in September or October with a result of a beautiful garden that blossoms during spring, summer, and the following fall.

Planning your spring garden provides the best results.

This means you need to choose a space for your garden plot that gets full sunlight of at least six hours of direct sun each day during the fall and winter and spring and summer.

A bulb four inches tall needs a hole at least eight inches deep.

If your garden plot does not already have loamy soil ripe with organic matter, mix organic matter such as a bone meal with potting soil and mix it with the existing topsoil.

Create a unique look and give a lawn great curb appeal during the spring and summer months of the year with a water garden.A homeowner or gardener will need to decide where they want it to put.

The grass and any roots that are in that area will need to be removed and clean out before anything else.

There is a wide selection of prefabricated liners available that can be purchased at a garden center or ordered from stores online.

There are also soft liners to buy so that a homeowner can be creative and can determine the size and shape they will want their water garden to be.

Once all debris has been removed, the liner can be installed carefully to make sure that no holes come in the liner and that nothing will puncture it once it is in place.

Add a pump so that the water can be circulated to prevent the water in the garden or fountain from becoming stagnant water.Large stones can also be added around a soft plastic liner so that it will stay in place and will not move.
