Website Performance Optimization

Web performance optimization refers to the rate at which web pages load and are displayed on the browser of the end user. This can range from very fast loading, like with an internet explorer page, to long loading, like with a slow dial up connection. Web performance optimization, also known as website optimization, is the area of study on increasing website performance through the use of internet technologies.

There are many factors which go into website performance optimization. These include the overall design and layout, and the keywords used within the site. In order to maximize the optimization of a website, one must also try to use keyword rich content. Search engines often use search engine optimization to determine which websites rank high within their rankings for certain keywords. If the keywords used within the website are not rich, the search engines will not provide any ranking for the site at all.

Another factor that is used in the field of website performance optimization is the amount of time the search engines spend searching for a specific keyword. If the keywords used in a site do not appear frequently in the search engine searches, this may cause a slow search engine ranking. The search engines generally base their rankings on how often a keyword appears within the text in a site. A site owner who uses poor keyword usage will find that the search engine optimization of their site will be decreased considerably. When the search engines find your site to be less important than others, they will eliminate your website from the results.
