More than 5,000 illegal pressures have been cleared as a hindrance to the railways


A drive is underway to remove illegal houses along the railway track between Surat-Udhna-Bhestan. In the fifth phase of the operation, a total of 850 illegal houses up to Udhna Bhestan Beach, Sanjay Nagar, Santoshi Nagar, and Bhim Nagar were demolished and removed near the railway tracks.


In this action, a total of 760 illegal encroachments from Sahara Darwaza to Maqdoom Nagar were demolished mentioned in many Gujarati newspaper. A total of 1,500 illegal houses have been demolished and railway land has been vacated in the demolition action carried out by the railways along the railway tracks on February 8, 9, and 10.


Encroachments along the railway track between Udhna-Surat have also been removed. Action has been taken here more than five thousand illegal encroachments have been demolished so far in the demolition action carried out by the railways. In which action was taken from Surat towards the landing and from Udhna to Kamela Darwaza while from Makdumnagar to Maqdumnagar.


The biggest action was taken on Friday from Sanjay Nagar to Bhim Nagar, in which 850 illegal shelters were demolished. 117 RPF, 125 city police personnel, and 113 grp jawans were present here.


Railway protection force personnel first persuaded the people, and then the action went on from 9 am to 3 pm the railway protection force said the action was taken between 9 am and 3 pm. A total of 850 illegal colonies were demolished along the railway tracks up to Sanjay Nagar, Santoshi Nagar, and Bhim Nagar near Udhna. Meanwhile, people were made to understand in the morning that the action was being taken after a Supreme Court order. After which action was taken.


Meanwhile, a large number of security forces were deployed at these places. There was no violence or commotion during the operation. The RPF carried out a successful operation on the railway track from Sanjay Nagar to Bhim Nagar in Udhna. There was no violence or clashes during this period as there was a large presence of security forces. The action was taken under the supervision of RPF, GRP, and city police. 


60,000 parrots stolen, complaint lodged with Umra police in Surat


Crimes like robbery and murder are registered in police stations. But a different complaint has been lodged at the Umra police station in Surat city and that is parrot theft. This parrot is also not the same but it is worth 50 to 60 thousand. Based on the complaint a probe has been launched by the police to trace the parrot.


What is a complaint? Kamal Shinde, who lives in the Athwalines area of Surat, is himself a bird lover. They are already fond of bird rearing. They have an African grey parrot of 6 years of age. For which they have also registered in the portal under the exotic bird advisory, the certificate of which is also with them.


They also kept these parrots like a member of the house in a cage and open in the house. On February 6, his parrot left the house and went to the road. After which, at first, Kamalbhai felt that his favourite parrot might have flown somewhere. But when they checked the CCTV cameras near the house it was found that the parrot was not lost but stolen.


The CCTV cameras showed them carrying their parrots wrapped in a cloth. Gujarati newspaper then printed the photos from CCTV cameras and shared them with a group of people who had come and sold animals and birds and sold those cages. In which more information came out that the men who had stolen the parrot had come to buy a cage with their parrot in an aquarium shop near Udhna Darwaza.


The man was revealed to be a man driving a Chinese lorry in Gopipura. When they asked for their African grey parrot after getting his number, they cut off the phone with an evasive reply. After which they lodged a complaint with the Umra police that their African grey parrots cost around fifty to sixty thousand.
